Chanel Returns to Aspen with a Seasonal Alpine Boutique
Mountain codes, redefined through the House lens.
Earlier this month, Chanel reopened its presence in Aspen with a new seasonal boutique, marking a return to the mountain destination following its 2022 ephemeral space. Now open in the heart of the Roaring Fork Valley, the 2,693 square foot address presents a tightly edited selection of ready to wear, accessories, leather goods, shoes, and Watches and Fine Jewelry.
Conceived as an intimate alpine retreat, the two level space balances Aspen’s natural landscape with the House’s enduring design codes. A restrained palette of black, white and beige is layered with stone textures, neutral plaster walls and plush carpeting. Dark wood vitrines, white shelving and black metal accents introduce depth without disrupting the calm.
On the ground floor, leather goods and accessories frame the entrance before opening into a relaxed living space dedicated to ready to wear and a focused shoe edit. Two discreet fitting rooms offer privacy. The Coco Neige 2025/26 collection anchors the floor, with technical knit sets, sculpted outerwear and modular layers designed for life both on and off the slopes. A champagne metallic fireplace draws the eye, reinforcing the boutique’s alpine warmth.
Upstairs, a long cream tweed sofa with black puffer tweed cushions and faux fur throws shifts the mood to elevated chalet ease. Here, the Spring-Summer 2026 Pre-Collection introduces neutral tailoring, leather jackets and refined denim intended to bridge winter and the off season wardrobe. A private fitting room for top clients is concealed behind a neutral tweed curtain, complete with its own seating area.
Watches and Fine Jewellery occupy a dedicated corner on the second floor, spotlighting signatures such as Coco Crush, J12 and Première, including the new Première Galon. New Coco Crush chokers and supple necklaces are styled alongside the Première Ribbon Red Watch, encouraging layered, cross collection dressing.
With this Aspen opening now underway, Chanel strengthens its seasonal retail strategy across key lifestyle destinations, translating mountain glamour through a design language that remains unmistakably its own.
