A modern take on historical charm in one of Italy’s most iconic destinations
Six Senses has signed a hotel management agreement with Gruppo Statuto, marking an exciting new chapter in its Italian story. Enjoying a prime address at Via Brera 19, the hotel is perfectly placed within Milan’s artistic Brera quarter, a neighbourhood deeply emblematic of authentic Milanese heritage and culture. The surrounding galleries and the masterpieces of the Pinacoteca offer a serene counterpoint to the city’s high-energy rhythms, making the new hotel a gateway to craftsmanship, creativity, and timeless style.
Neil Jacobs, CEO, Six Senses, shared, “Italy moves you like nowhere else. In few places do art, architecture, gastronomy, and the joy of living intertwine so effortlessly. Six Senses Milan is intentionally sized and designed for attentive hospitality and holistic wellness within one of Europe’s most dynamic fashion capitals.”
The latest signing also further establishes Gruppo Statuto as a leading Italian real estate group with a distinguished portfolio of international luxury hotels, including Six Senses London, Six Senses Ibiza, and Six Senses Rome.
Giuseppe Statuto, Owner, Gruppo Statuto, added, “Gruppo Statuto has further strengthened its collaboration with Six Senses to bring the brand to renowned destinations. Following its success in Ibiza and Rome and its upcoming opening in London, we are delighted to announce another historical building in a globally recognised address. The Gruppo Statuto Luxury Hotels portfolio is now a benchmark within the high-end hospitality segment, where Italy leads interests and investments thanks to its history, culture, and lifestyle.”

Designed as a retreat within the artistic core of the city, Six Senses Milan takes guests on a journey through craftsmanship and refined design. Arabescato marble, antique brass detailing, handmade smoked glass, textured ceilings, and mosaic borders all echo Milan’s legacy of style and artistry.
The hotel also highlights the brand’s deep commitment to sustainability, expressed through thoughtfully sourced materials and furnishings, a dedicated Earth Lab, a tranquil internal courtyard, and a specialty restaurant and deli celebrating seasonal gastronomy.
Of the 68 guest rooms, 15 are suites, with two featuring plunge pools. A state-of-the-art spa brings the brand’s high-tech, high-touch wellness philosophy to the city, while a rooftop bar and sky pool offer a striking new way to experience Milan from above.
