The Best Moments at London Fashion Week

The marquee event of world fashion descended on London this week, bringing with it a slew of luxury style debuts for sports and entertainment stars.

Fashion Week 2024 brought some standout moments from players exercising their natural flair for expressive dressing, joining forces with figures across music, fashion and entertainment. The ultimate combination of modern culture.

Eberechi Eze x Burberry

After partnering with the Eze Foundation, providing schoolchildren with glimpses into the working world of fashion, Burberry has become a brand synonymous with footballers and the art of philanthropy. The heritage house solidified its connections with the game as it presented the SS25 collection at the National Theatre, with the front row filled with talent from the pitch. From Rio Ferdinand to Marc Guéhi and Declan Rice, the show illuminated both present and past footballers in their authentic flow with fantastic outfits on show. There were also special appearances from Olympians Jack Draper and Katrina Johnson Thompson. The winner? Eberechi Eze, sporting a cream striped shirt, saddle bag and head scarf for the perfect end-of-summer style sequence.

Declan Rice x LABRUM London

The Labrum SS25 show was the epitome of the fashion x football fusion. Hosted at the Emirates Stadium, Declan Rice walked the runway as Arsenal players including Myles Lewis-Skelly and Riccardo Calafiori watched on. His look, a navy suit laced with a length of white fabric and silver eyelets, was finished with a pair of iconic black Adidas Superstars and an unwavering look of confidence from a man who looked more than at home. A philosophy centred on creating directional and purposeful pieces, LABRUM was the masterful designer behind Arsenal’s beautiful Africa special edition away shirt – which also made its way into the runway repertoire.

Skepta x MAINS

MAINS is the fashion venture of British-Nigerian rapper, producer and filmmaker, Skepta. After initially launching in 2017, the brand took a brief hiatus before making a powerful return at last year’s LFW, and it was back with a bang for 2024. His second runway show was based on the back-to-school movement with collegiate pieces including embroidered bomber jackets and USA flag sweater vests, as well as slim neckties and pocket squares. Stars from the world of music and cinema including Central Cee and Gabriel Moses were in attendance as models blended elevated design with everyday wearability.
