Port Vale FC Temperature Screening Technology Installation

IPM recently had the privilege to install our temperature screening technology at Part Vale FC. Like many Football clubs, Port Vale was concerned about how to protect their players, staff and visitors when they reopened their doors and resumed training.

After discussions and a site visit, the IPM team designed and installed a state-of-the-art temperature screening solution. Which will act as the first line of defence and an early warning system for anyone entering the club with a high body temperature, alerting key staff members once the system detects a raised temperature.

Port Vale needed a solution that was quick, effective and simple to use. Due to the nature of football clubs, with many different people entering throughout the day, IPM installed a system that could handle the flow of people. The temperature screening technology can assess multiple people at the same time, this allows the club to feel as normal as possible in these quite different times.

This was an important step for the club, as Port Vale FC’s Safety Officer John Rutherford says: “We wanted to get something in place to reassure all coaching staff, players, employees, volunteers and visitors, and IPM have quickly provided the technology to assist us in this aim”.

IPM’s temperature screening technology is part of a comprehensive 6 stage return to work safely process. This process is designed to assist all businesses, in any industry to return to work safely.
