Dior Opens Its First Venice Spa at Hotel Cipriani
Dior has landed on the Giudecca. On 15 July, the Maison opened its first Venice spa at Hotel Cipriani, A Belmond Hotel, marking the latest chapter in its Haute Wellness expansion and a deepening of its partnership with Belmond.
The spa arrives as part of the landmark property’s multi-phase renovation by Peter Marino Architect, with Marino also behind the spa’s interiors. It is a fitting pairing for a house whose Venetian ties stretch back to 1951, when Christian Dior attended Charles de Beistegui’s legendary costume ball. In the decades since, Dior has funded the restoration of the Porta Magna and remained a fixture of the Venice Art Biennale.
Set across two floors, the spa houses five treatment cabins, including a double suite, a relaxation lounge and a boutique carrying Dior’s fragrance, skincare and makeup collections. It also debuts the Dior Haute Wellness collection, a product line built around movement, mindfulness and sleep, designed to carry the ritual well beyond the treatment room.
Three signature therapies were created exclusively for Venice. Mascarade draws on the city’s mask-making heritage, pairing massage with ultrasound, microcurrents, cryotherapy and LED technology. Grand Bal readies guests for the evening ahead through scalp care, facial sculpting, bespoke makeup and nail treatments by Dior specialists. Théâtre Corporel, a four-handed body treatment available for couples, layers guided meditation, aromachology oils and fascia-focused massage into a full reset.
Dior’s established protocols sit alongside, from Kobi-Dior and Golden Aura to Dior Powered by Hydrafacial, with add-ons spanning hot stone therapy, reflexology and LED light treatments. Afterwards, guests unwind in the relaxation lounge with detox beverages developed with the Cipriani’s culinary team.
Two holistic experiences round out the offering. Nutritionist Rose Ferguson has created the Self Alignment Cruise, a private boat experience built around personal wellbeing, while Pilates instructor Bryony Deery brings Grounding Slow Movement Therapy, pairing guided breathing with slow Pilates in a multisensory format.
The opening confirms what the industry already knows: hospitality is now a core pillar of the luxury playbook, and Dior is building its wellness empire one landmark address at a time.
