A year in review with HNB Exclusive

After almost a year in partnership, SWM sat down with Anthony Nicholls, Managing Director at HNB Exclusive, to discuss the last 12 months and plans for the future. In the past year they have seen an array of new projects, new members joining the team, and some dream projects becoming reality – things are looking bright as they head into 2023.

HOW HAS 2022 BEEN FOR HNB EXCLUSIVE ON A WHOLE?

2022 has been our most exciting and successful year to date. As with any business, it is the people behind the brand that make it a success and we have an amazing team here at HNB! The HNB Team have really pulled together and helped drive the business forward to new levels with us undertaking bigger projects, challenging builds and raising the bar even higher in terms of the finish we are achieving.

TALK US THROUGH SOME OF YOUR KEY PROJECTS FROM THIS YEAR.

We are all about building and remodelling incredible luxury homes to match the lifestyles led by our clients and the projects we have completed this year do exactly that! We have built a luxury home with no expense spared for a very exclusive client; We have completely remodelled one of our clients properties from top to bottom including building a new pool and spa in the back garden. We have converted barns on a large estate to create staff and guest accommodation and added a cinema room, gym and spa to the main house. Another of our projects saw us return to a long-standing client to build an outdoor pool just in time for them to use when the hot weather came along in the summer!

AS THE YEAR HAS PROGRESSED, WHAT CHANGES HAVE OCCURRED IN THE BUSINESS?

We are very ambitious and want to continue to grow and always strive to be the very best at what we do. The only way for this to happen is for us to continually invest in the business and this year has been no different. We have invested in all areas of the business with new offices, equipment and infrastructure. We have also grown as a team with new members joining and have provided training for everyone to keep us improving and moving forward.

WHERE DO YOU SEE HNB EXCLUSIVE HEADING IN 2023?

We have become known as ‘the builders’ to deliver exclusive luxury construction projects whether that be new builds, remodelling/refurbishing existing properties and adding the all-important wow factor. For 2023 we would love to continue working with clients who want to build or remodel their homes to match their lifestyles.

WHAT WOULD YOU SAY IS A DREAM PROJECT FOR YOU?

A dream project for us would be working alongside a client to transform their house into a home that reflects their personality and lifestyle and importantly adds the wow factor they are looking for. Once we have completed one project for a client, we pride ourselves on becoming the only builder they want to use in the future. This, for us, makes a dream project, as we deliver what the client wants to achieve and also develop a strong, trusting relationship along the way.

IS THERE ANYTHING EXCITING UPCOMING FOR NEXT YEAR?

We already have some amazing projects booked in for next year which is really exciting for all of us here at HNB. We will be building a huge no expenses spared luxury home with features such as an underground cinema room, golf simulator, bar, games room and swimming pool. Another project will see us extending our clients existing home to create a spa complex with gym, sauna and resistance swimming pool. We also have a barn conversion project and a couple of whole house remodelling projects so exciting times ahead!
