ELEGANCE MEETS HIGH ADRENALINE

THE ULTIMATE SCULPTURAL STATEMENT

The Prodrive Racing Simulator was conceived with the DNA of Prodrive’s real-world motorsport heritage combined with the craftsmanship of fine interiors from the world’s finest mega- yachts to create a sculptural statement piece.

The result is an amalgamation of two unique worlds; professional motorsport and fine luxury furniture offering one very special and exclusive product, which is the world’s most beautiful gaming simulator.

Prodrive is no stranger to Motorsport success, and even as recently as this year’s 24-hour race at the famous Le Mans circuit in France, secured a podium finish with one of the Prodrive-built Aston Martin GTE race cars. Prodrive’s achievements stem from every discipline of racing from Formula 1, World Rally, and Extreme E to the endurance races of Le Mans and the formidable deserts of the Dakar Rally.

page147image45668240Prodrive, which was founded in the UK nearly 40 years ago, has become celebrated for success in Global GT racing and World Rally. It is this experience and decades of working with professional racing drivers and driver development programs using professional racing driver simulators, which has led to the obvious route of creating a luxury driver simulator available to gamers and enthusiasts alike.

Whilst Prodrive has become synonymous with the many victories at Le Mans, developing and producing Aston Martin’s GT race cars since 2004, more recently Prodrive have collaborated with Lewis Hamilton’s Team X44 in the all- electric Extreme E championship.

It doesn’t stop there though. Prodrive are currently running 9x World Rally Champion, Sébastien Loeb, in a Prodrive Hunter vehicle in the World Rally- Raid Championship which includes the gruelling Dakar Rally, seen as the ultimate off-road endurance event. A podium finish in only their second year of competition forms a serious statement of intent.

For many, Prodrive’s association with World Rally and Subaru is a chapter firmly embedded in the history books. Iconic moments in blue Subarus driven by Colin McRae, Richard Burns, Petter Solberg, and other world-class drivers will be forever immortalised, collectively capturing the imagination of fans the world over.

Indeed, over the years, Prodrive has also been heavily involved in Formula 1, the pinnacle of world motorsport with both British American Racing and Benetton, where the Founder of Prodrive, David Richards CBE, was also Team Principal.

Prodrive’s motorsport pedigree and heritage is not the only essential ingredient here. Prodrive’s Advanced Technology division produces intelligent interiors, seating and living space for some of the most prestigious private jets. Enhancing this expertise through partnering with a supplier of fine furniture and interiors to the luxury mega-yacht market, the outcome is a great-looking simulator with a high-class finish that perfectly compliments the interior of a luxury home or apartment. It comes as no surprise therefore that the fine 16-layer beech surround and high-gloss piano black painted finish combines to create an exclusive product.

Prodrive has looked at the components used in professional driver simulators and incorporated them into the design to give gamers and enthusiasts the ultimate experience, an example being the steering wheel system which gives excellent active feedback as if you were driving the car for real. The pedal box is the same as used on professional driver simulators and even the Alcantara trimmed seat is from a professional motorsport supplier, offering an accurate and ergonomic environment.

It soon becomes clear that this is no ordinary gaming simulator and yet it maintains a grace and beauty worthy of a beautiful piece of furniture.

Central to the cockpit is the carbon fibre tub. Produced in-house by Prodrive’s own Composites division, which normally produces interiors and performance parts for the luxury supercar and hypercar markets, the applied process is just the same as that for Prodrive’s ‘real world’ race cars. As you drop down into the cockpit you really feel immersed by the motorsport heritage and simultaneously the sumptuous atmosphere that comes from fine furniture.

As you take a step back it certainly lives up to its billing of the most beautiful simulator in the world.

Launched in late 2022, the fully hand- built Prodrive Racing Simulator is now in full production at its global headquarters, an inspirational environment, where you can see the simulators manufactured right alongside Prodrive’s physical race cars.

Customisation is possible should you wish to tailor the simulator for your personal requirements, and it is naturally capable of running currently available PC-based games such as Asseto Corsa, R Factor and IRacing to name a few.

A simulator like no other, this is designed for the discerning individual.
