Lacoste Opens Its First Café in Paris
Paris gains a new address where fashion, food and French sensibility converge. Following the momentum of its Monaco pop up, Lacoste unveiled its first permanent Café Lacoste in the capital, which opened on February 5, 2026, on Avenue Franklin D. Roosevelt. Positioned just steps from the brand’s flagship, the café marks a decisive evolution of the Crocodile’s universe into hospitality.
For this debut, Lacoste joins forces with the Giraudi Group, founded by Riccardo Giraudi. With more than two decades of experience shaping globally recognised restaurant concepts, the group brings contemporary gastronomic precision to Lacoste’s heritage of French elegance.
A Permanent Expression of the Crocodile
Conceived as a natural extension of the house’s aesthetic codes, Café Lacoste translates sporting heritage into a refined, all day setting. The 100 square metre space seats 65 and caters to modern city rhythms, offering dine in, takeaway and soon, delivery.
Inside, deep greens and off white tones nod to the tennis court, while terracotta accents and noble materials introduce warmth. Clean architectural lines subtly reference the brand’s athletic DNA, creating an atmosphere that is polished yet inviting.
The opening builds on Lacoste’s earlier hospitality moments, including experiences at the Shangri-La Paris, The Plaza Hotel and its roaming Le Club Lacoste concepts. This time, the brand establishes a permanent gourmet destination in the heart of Paris.
Dining, Design and Retail in One Address
Under the direction of Thierry Paludetto, chef of the Giraudi Group, the menu reworks familiar café staples with clarity and restraint. Expect club sandwiches, seasonal salads and composed dishes that balance comfort with finesse.
Among the highlights is the Iconic Polo, conceived as a shareable centrepiece designed to be enjoyed on site or taken away. On the drinks menu, artisan roasted specialty coffees sit alongside creative lattes in pistachio, vanilla and chai. The signature L’Eau de Croco blends coconut water, matcha and ginger, a contemporary refresh that feels distinctly aligned with the brand.
Beyond dining, a dedicated concept store offers exclusive products that extend the experience beyond the café walls. The edit includes fine food items, French porcelain tableware bearing the Lacoste name and a textile capsule designed to embed the café’s aesthetic into everyday life.
“With Café Lacoste, we naturally extend our universe into a shared living space,” said Eric Vallat, chief executive officer of Lacoste. “True to our sporting and cultural heritage, this opening expresses the Lacoste art de vivre through elegant and contemporary experiences that are part of everyday life, in the heart of Paris, and that will naturally find their place in other locations.”
Riccardo Giraudi, chief executive officer of the Giraudi Group, added, “This partnership brings together the exacting standards of our gastronomic savoir-faire and the timeless allure of the Crocodile, creating a space where pleasure and design meet.”
With Café Lacoste, the brand steps further into lifestyle territory, demonstrating that in 2026, fashion houses are shaping culture not only through what we wear, but where we gather.
